“Until John Mahama is declared winner of December 7 polls, we’ll continue to protest “ – Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu (Sissala West MP)

The Member of Parliament for Sissala West, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) says the party will not stop organising protests against the Electoral Commission (EC) until John Mahama is declared winner of the December 7, 2020, general elections.

Mr. Sukparu insists some people have are trying to change the will of the people and they in the NDC will continue to protest peaceful. According to him, his Excellency John Dramani Mahama has been ordained by God to lead this country once again. For him, they in the NDC believes this year’s election was won by John Mahama. 

“NPP claiming they won this year’s election is never true. It’s the NDC that the Ghanaians voted for, in worst scenario it should have been a round-off, but to declare Nana Addo to be the winner of this election is something we think is not being fair to Ghanaians. 

They are trying to change what the people voted for. EC is trying to impose a leader on this country that the people themselves are not ready for that leader”. Please watch the video here:
