‘Time to act and make Ghana music industry well equipped with things that work better for all’ – Shatta Wale

Published

Dancehall Naa, Shatta Wale has come out once again to free his mind about the music industry.

According to him, you can’t build a house with an award, a lot of old artiste are with awards in their rooms but are hungry today, find better ways to make good money out of your crafts and it’s all boils down to proper industry system that put money into the pockets of the main practitioners.

‘How is that possible? Learn from the west where they have grown in the business of the show and use that experience to better your system’.

‘Who are the leaders of the industry? Are they ready to study and impact their knowledge to better the bad system?’.

‘Time to act and make Ghana music industry well equipped with things that work better for all’.

‘Build a better music industry structure now’.

The artist further when on to say that , some banks won several awards for their ‘good works’ what happened years or a year after, the banks collapsed. How can a bank win bank of the year and the next year go on bankruptcy.

‘As for awards down here we know how people are rewarded. The highest bidder always wins. Instead of allowing the people to decide, it’s left in the hands of some few corrupt people’.
