Ghanaian filmmaker, director and  Director for Creative Arts at the National Commission on Culture in Ghana, Socrate Sarfo, has stated that, should the NPP lose the December 7 elections, the blame should be on lack of information.

According to the director in an interview on Okay FM, he had this to say: “what l have to do in my capacity, l have done it”. “If someone is listening, he should tell the president that some of us are getting tired, the frustration is too much and we have been quite for far too long”.

Well, Socrate also stated that, it feels like they being quite means that you are stupid, but no, that is not the case. “We quite means giving time for people to reform”. He also made it clear that, we voted for a party and the president is doing everything he can do, but there are people who do not understand why there are even in office. “There are people who don’t value what they have been assigned to do”.

Security analyst, Col. Festus Aboagye (RTD) has warned the government to stop using soldiers as security.

Speaking in an interview on TV3, he said its not the role of the military being so mandatory to provide security to certain VVIP’s. For him, there might be a situation of emergencies like civil war and conflict in a part of the country but in the normal democratic governance that we find ourselves, military are not bodyguards for parliamentarians, ministers and lawyers. Please watch the video below:
