Social media users reacts after Reggie Rockstone and Serwaa Amihere clash over Akuapem Poloo’s sentence

Published

Hip-pop Grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone and Broadcast Journalist, Serwaa Amihere have clashed on Twitter following the news of Akuapem Poloo’s sentencing.

In social media banter, the two were seen arguing about the trending issue as Serwaa Amihere expressed why some people are still begging on Akuapem Poloo’s behalf after she pleaded guilty to the charges leveled against her.

Serwaa Amihere wrote on Twitter; “A person is convicted on her OWN PLEA, this means that the person accepts that he or she is wrong. The natural consequence of pleading guilty on your own volition means that you are ready to be punished. How are we asking for this person to be freed….”

However, Reggie Rockstone also quizzed Serwaa Amihere if she has a child. Reggie’s tweet read: “WE ASK COS WE ARE HUMAN AND ALL BLEED RED AND FEEL FOR THIS PERSONS PLIGHT IS WHY IT IS OK TO ASK AND MORE SO ABOUT HER SON! DO YOU HAVE A CHILD? #empathy#weslip#thekid#empathy#jesuswould”.

Social media users have also reacted to this issue. Below are some comments:
