Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Lil Wayne, Dababy and more announced for Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis

This year, Memphis’ Beale Street Music Festival returns to Tom Lee Park the weekend of 5/1-3. The headliners are the Lumineers, Lil Wayne, Weezer, Nelly, and Waka Flocka Flame. But what is  even more exciting is the fact that Memphis in May will be giving a month long cultural salute to Ghana this year, therefore the lineup will include two Ghanaian superstars Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.

Headliners for the festival include an eclectic mix of Hip Hop, Rock, Pop, Blues, Americana, and 2020 Grammy winners.

The first round of headliners was announced Dec. 19, they included Lumineers, Lil Wayne, the Avett Brothers, and Memphis’ own Three 6 Mafia.

Beale Street Music Festival now adds DaBaby, Weezer, The Smashing Pumpkins, The 1975 and 311 to the 2020 lineup.

Other big names include Nelly, Deftones, Leon Bridges, and more. Memphis rappers Moneybagg Yo, Young Dolph, and Al Kapone will also be joining the stage.

Speaking in an interview on Celebrity Hangout, a sister station of Joy FM, hosted by Ibrahim Ben Bako, Adina said this seem very important to her and as artiste they get the opportunity to showcase themselves.

I was in coma for 4 days that got me completely paralyzed – Adelaide Bortier recalls her ordeal on #UnitedShowbiz

Adelaide Bortier, a super-talented singer livingbwith blindness has revealed that she was in coma for 4 days that got her paralyzed completely.

Adelaide speaking in an interview on United Television with host, Nana Ama MacBrown on the ‘United Showbiz’ show, disclosed: “l was making preparations towards coming out with my music before DopeNation uncovered me”, she said. 

The gifted musician also stated that she wasn’t born blind but she lost her sight on October 16, 2012 and she fell sick. According to her, she contract a condition called spinal meningitis which affected her brain nerves and lost her sight.
