Restrictions On The Number Of People Worshipping In Churches And Mosques Lifted Starting August 1, 2020 + Number Of Hours Per Service - President Nana Addo

President Nana Akufo-Addo has lifted the number of people worshipping in churches and mosques starting on August 1, 2020. 

Addressing the nation yesterday, he stated that though the restrictions have been lifted, the number of hours allowed per a service is 2 hours. This means that, 100 people per a service for an hour then another 100 people for another service for an hour. He also appreciated religious leaders that since the lifting of the first restrictions on the number of people to attend churches, there has not been any record of positive case of the deadly virus.

“I have solely missed going to church and l am sure many others are” and he very happy to say that from August 1, 2020 the number of congregants worshiping in a time in church will be lifted. Church leaders must also ensure the wearing of the face mask and 1 meter social distancing is strictly applied. These same guidelines apply in our mosques and there should be ventilation in the room rather than air conditions.

Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, has been elected as the 46th President of the United States Of America.

To make him the President, he won the State of Pennsylvania to give him 20 more electoral votes to hit 270 electoral votes within hitherto 253. Taking to his twitter page, Joe Biden thanked Americans for the victory and assuring them to be President for all. 

America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country.

President Muhammadu Buhari Finally Address His Citizens Over The #EndSARS Protest

Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari has finally addressed his citizens over the #EndSARS protests.

In his strongly-worded address, Buhari has thrown shades at President Nana Akufo-Addo, Hilary Clinton, and other world leaders who dared to talk about the impasse. Well, it looks like Buhari did not need our input on the matter and the pressure for Akufo-Addo to speak was unnecessary.

SARS had reportedly been terrorising the ordinary citizens, especially the youth, and even killing some. Former United States President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Clinton, former Liberia President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, among others also criticised the Nigerian government over the reported deaths of protesters.
