“Pastors neglected me…. when l was at my lowest” – Empress Gifty

Empress Gifty is an award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician and fashionista. She was awarded the artiste of the year in the 2018 National Gospel Music Awards. In 2019 she led the nomination list in the Maranatha Global Worship Music Awards held in Kenya.

According to the ‘Meyi Woaye’ crooner, she’s gone through bitter times and at her worst, she receive no love from friends she genuinely taught were there for her.

During an interview on Okay FM, the gospel singer critically mentioned that amongst her so-called friends were pastors and some church colleagues she dearly referred to as her own sisters and brothers , who were smiling with her never showed any concern while she was battling depression. None of her so-called friends have called her till now to ask about her well-being.

Her experience in the past, she explained, has however taught her a great lesson and sworn never to get close to humans nor make any friends.

He spoke to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz this morning and the 20 year-old stated that he started music just 2 years ago and he is making constant progress. He also shockingly revealed that he is not scared of Covid-19.

“Don’t let your child go to school” – DKB advises parents

Now he made this known through a video he posted on social media and its on the heels of President Nana Akufo-Addo announcing the re-opening of schools in his 22nd address to the nation.
