Listen: Sarkodie Finally Confirms Stonebwoy Assaulted His Manager

Sarkodie has finally confirmed that Stonebwoy assaulted his manager, Angel Town, during the Black Love Virtual Concert.

The rapper usually do not do this, but this is for the betterment of the industry and the ways forward. One would remember that, on August 10, 2020, Stonebwoy had a misunderstanding with his manager which led to exchange of punches which led his manager injured.

According to rapper, the incident that happened at the Black Start Square is not the first time and would not be the last but the ultimate goal is to try and minimize and get rid of such thing from our industry. “Everyone has the right to be mad or angry, but no one has the right to assault” he said.

The main reason why Sarkodie got upset is that, Stonebwoy decided to go physical with the situation and he does not think he care from where ever he came from to destroy his show. He has great relationships with people and did not come by him because he is the best person he has come across, but he built a mechanism to be able to deal with people regardless of how they reacts. The rapper also made reference to Dr Duncan, Angel Town and his wife and people that he knows and that they are not the best people around him.

“Everyone has flaws, even myself” he added. As a leader you need to know how to put people together, sometimes you have to be the coach and not necessarily the player. There has been several incidents where he felt disrespected by organizers, media personnel’s and his own colleagues sometimes but he always control his actions to the bigger picture. This does not make him soft or weak, “my brother has every right to be mad, he could have chosen to insult Angelo, even myself or scream and move his car and go”.

“He knows l will call him and apologize, not because l have to, but l don’t want bad love”. This time he did not take that riot and Stonebwoy went over board and to him it is the highest level of disrespect no matter what happened because he has been at his concert and he has no idea how he gets there or what he goes through to get to that stage. The long and short of the issue is that Stonebwoy did hit his manager he is here to confirm and condemn the act and extremely disappointed knowing how he is with Angelo. On a lighter note, to those saying that why did Angelo allow Stonebwoy hit him and go free, just imagine what would have happened if he had retaliated. Angelo saw him as his little brother who is out of control but he is happy he did not touch him.

Ending his address, he used the opportunity to advise the upcoming artists to know how to control their actions and also apologize to Stonebwoy and accepted his apology as well. Please listen to him in the audio below.
