J Derobie Speaks On Dancehall Song Of The Year Award, Others

Ghanaian reggae dancehall artiste, J Derobie, has revealed that he is not under any pressure to do more in the dancehall fraternity despite that fact that he won the reggae dancehall song of the year award.

In an interview on HitzFM with Doreen Avio, the host told him that those categories are tough categories so how does he feel that there are great artiste in there like Shatta Wale, Stonebowy and the likes. The musician responded “no there is no pressure on me, even the day l won the awards l released a song title “Riches”.

In appreciation and thanks to all the people supporting my music, loving and pushing  me in the industry. A lot of people said if its for you its for you”. However, his boss Mr Eazi also congratulated him for his win since he has been signed unto Empawa Africa.

“We made amendments to the leaked song and it’s better than the previous one” - Stonebwoy on individuals who leaked his song with Davido

Dancehall act, Stonebwoy says he has made amendments to his banger with Nigerian musician, Davido which was leaked.

Earlier on the dancehall artiste expressed his frustration after a song he recorded with Davido was leaked into the public space days ahead of its official release. He claimed he suspects a member of his team.

However, the “Nominate” hitmaker told Andy Dosty that he made some amendments to the song which will make it better than the leaked one. He also mentioned that he is impressed with how responsive the government has been with regards to controlling Covid-19 pandemic.

Wendy Shay Joins All Political Parties In Nima For Peaceful Walk And Clean Up Exercise

Rufftown signee, Wendy Shay in collaboration with her Shay Foundation organized a peace walk and clean up exercise ahead of December 7 polls.

The event saw reps from the main two political parties in Ghana, NDC and NPP. The walk and clean up exercise took place at Nima also saw some industry players taking part. The “Uber Driver” hitmaker looked cheerful as she all joined in the clean up exercise. 

We hope this exercise will surely remind these political parties on the need to embrace peace and not violence as Ghanaians prepare towards December 7 polls in some few days to come.
