Government Allocates $10 Million For The Creative Arts Industry - Socrate Safo

Movie producer, Socrate Safo has stated in an interview that, Government has allocated $10 million for the creative arts industry.

In an interview on Okay FM, Mr Safo stated that “if you will be honest and not be an NDC you will know that there is $10 million from Exim bank and we are all aware. It has been there ever since for about two years now and they announce it. The challenge about that money is that, for us in the industry accessing such money from an organized bank like Exim bank is a bit of a challenge.

The challenge is the requirement from the commercial bank ie Exim bank. You as an artiste or creative arts person, you can’t meet their requirement”. However, he had an evidence to back his claim but Bulldog and Sadique as pundit on the show were not convinced.

My collaboration with Beyoncé hasn’t been appreciated enough – Shatta Wale

Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale was a guest on TV3’s evening program dubbed, “Showbiz 360” hosted by Giovanni Caleb. 

The show which is dedicated to happenings around the entertainment industry saw Shatta Wale make some shocking revelation about his collaboration with Beyoncé. According to him, he has done a song with Beyoncé but the whole of Ghana is not pushing that agenda and its a problem. 

Shatta Wale believes it happened by the grace of God but Ghanaians have not appreciated him enough but he still feel there is more work for him to do. “We haven’t celebrated the glory enough”, he added.

“I agreed to take the vaccine publicly, to encourage and assure all Ghanaians that the vaccines are safe” – John Mahama

Former President John Mahama has received the vaccine for Covid-19. 

John Mahama was accompanied by his wife Lordina Mahama on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Police Hospital in Accra. After receiving the vaccine, Mr. Mahama allayed the fear of Ghanaians with an assurance that the vaccines are safe. 

He also noted that Ghanaians must therefore disregard all the rumors about the vaccine and get vaccinated. He tweeted below:
