I'm Scared I Might Not Be Awarded For ‘Yetensem’ Series - Amerado

Ghanaian rapper, Amerado, is worried VGMA will not consider his “Yetensem” series for next year rap category. 

The musician started his “Yetensem” series that talks about trending issues of the week when the lockdown was initiated a few months ago. He said he hopes its considered as it forms a major part of his works. “When am alone, l always ask myself do l stand a chance of winning this because, how are they going to see “Yetensem”.

Are they going to see it as a skit or music, because l drop songs every week. Am just going to put in the work and if they recognize me l will be very glad but if they don’t it’s a process. Definitely one day we will get to the top but for now am focusing on doing the hard work and making sure am heard”.

He also added that, he is not focused on awards even though he loves awards. If he focuses too much on the awards and he does not get it, he will be worried so he has to put off his mind on that side and keep giving his fans more hit songs.

Former President John Mahama has received the vaccine for Covid-19. 

John Mahama was accompanied by his wife Lordina Mahama on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Police Hospital in Accra. After receiving the vaccine, Mr. Mahama allayed the fear of Ghanaians with an assurance that the vaccines are safe. 

He also noted that Ghanaians must therefore disregard all the rumors about the vaccine and get vaccinated. He tweeted below:

“At age 95, l was the biggest fan of Shatta Wale” – An old man says

An old man has disclosed that at age 95, he was the biggest fan of Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale. 

Speaking in an interview with blogger Zionfelix, the 95-year-old man said he went to GUBA awards celebration and he heard people speaking a lot about him. According to him, he was there with the late Former President Jerry John Rawlings, “they said he is the best in the whole of West Africa and Africa”, he said. 

He further added that when he came to Ghana, he wrote a special letter to him because as far as he is concern, at the age of 95 he was the number 1 fan of Shatta Wale on authority. Please watch the video below:
