I won’t record any new music but I’ll be performing – Becca

Award winning singer, Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa , populary known as Becca says Ghanaians read wrongly into her Instagram post about retiring early.

According to Becca, many comments following the post seemed to suggest there was no room in her life for music anymore.

“I think a lot of times people don’t read. Now if you saw my post I put in quotes recording…I’m saying that I’m not going to actively record music,” she said at the launch of Joy FM’s Valentine’s Day event dubbed ‘The Love Experience’.

Becca says she is, however, open to being booked for shows and is willing to tour with her already existing albums.

“When was the last time you saw Daddy Lumba and Amakye Dede, release new music but they’re still two of the highest-paid artistes.”

Becca revealed plans to quit her career as a “recording” artiste by the end of 2020 on January 4, 2020.

In a post on all her social media pages, Becca stated that she will be making investments in “worthy and talented” artistes after she takes a bow out of music.

Speaking in an interview on Celebrity Hangout, a sister station of Joy FM, hosted by Ibrahim Ben Bako, Adina said this seem very important to her and as artiste they get the opportunity to showcase themselves.

I was in coma for 4 days that got me completely paralyzed – Adelaide Bortier recalls her ordeal on #UnitedShowbiz

Adelaide Bortier, a super-talented singer livingbwith blindness has revealed that she was in coma for 4 days that got her paralyzed completely.

Adelaide speaking in an interview on United Television with host, Nana Ama MacBrown on the ‘United Showbiz’ show, disclosed: “l was making preparations towards coming out with my music before DopeNation uncovered me”, she said. 

The gifted musician also stated that she wasn’t born blind but she lost her sight on October 16, 2012 and she fell sick. According to her, she contract a condition called spinal meningitis which affected her brain nerves and lost her sight.
