According to the boxer in an interview with host, Shaban Mohammed, the WBO African Heavyweight Champion stated that, the motivation behind his win is self determination but that does not mean when you win a fight, you are too strong and when you also loose you are not strong. As a boxer, you should be emotionally strong  because there are a lot of things that happen outside the ring and if you are not strong, you would loose before entering the ring.

“Where l have gotten to in boxing, l will thank God for it because it’s not everyone that has gotten there” he said. The host then asked him what he is aiming at. The boxer responded that he told people that he would take Ghana to the world and he did exactly that. He also touched on his fight against Daniel Dubois when Dubois dropped him down with a super right hand and referee Bob Williams called off the fight was as result of management issues.

Well, he also expressed his interest to fight Anthony Joshua. “In boxing, the one who is at the top is the one you have to target” he told the host. The more you talk about him, the attention would start coming on you then you can get the platform that you want. “Ghanaians should not be surprise that l challenge Anthony Joshua because he is not so special” he added. “As a boxer he has that same qualities as me, so what he can do, l can also do same”. “I have thrown the challenge so when he accepts, l will fight him”.
