We caught up with the ‘Rihanna lookalike’ last week in a one-on-one chat to discuss her career, and she divulged some interesting facts that might fascinate you. According to Chayuta, she chose Ghana over South Africa despite its huge, diverse growing market because she connects better to Ghana than SA. She discovered her music talent at age 9 and through the effort of her music, vocal coach and a few people around her, she ventured fully into music.

She also touched on competition in Ghana music and she had this to say:  “I know there’s a lot of competition but I’m not worried about it. I know what I’m coming to do, and I know where I’m going…I’m here to show them that I’m not here to joke” she said. Chayuta, who loves to fuse genres, said Ghanaians who tag her Rihanna will soon separate her from the Barbadian singer.

She also disclosed that the official visual for her latest song “Solo” is ready and will be released soon. She said it was shot by Twins Dont Beg and the song produced by Master Garzy. The songwriting credit goes to Jupiter. Share your views about Chayuta’s talent in the comment.
