I Had To Apologize To Kwaadee’s Team For Using His Name And Image For My Song, ‘Okomfour Kwaadee’ Without Permission - Fameye

Ghanaian highlife singer Fameye has disclosed that he had wanted to feature Kwaadee on “Okomfour Kwaadee”.

Fameye, legally known as Peter Famiyeh Bozah, apologize during an interview on Andy Dosty’s Daybreak Hitz which was aired today.

According to the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards “Best New Artiste of the Year” winner, he had to apologize to Kwaadee’s team for using his name and image for his song, “Okomfour Kwaadee” without permission. 

He said “l have not met Okomfour Kwaadee personally but l have spoken to his people. Some of the thing can’t put it on air because l have tried my best and am not sure l can open up. Initially l had wanted to put him on this song but l think l was talking to the wrong person, it was later on l got the correct person after releasing it”.

“I’ve to go and apologize to them because l used his image and his name to title the song”. He also added that, they were not angry but they were not too cool with it for using his name and image as the cover art. Please listen to him in the video below.

Kamelyeon to drop ‘Social Media Addict’ music video to address Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Samini beef ?

Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Kamelyeon is set to release his much anticipated music video from “SM Addict”. 

The artiste who shared a photo of his colleague, Stonebwoy who was watching something on his phone jokingly quizzed whether he was watching “SM Addict” music video on his phone. The MUSGANG Boss did not state when he will drop the video but could it be that, he wants to drop the video to address the ongoing beef between Shatta Wale, Samini and Stonebwoy? He tweeted below: 

However, his “Rainbow” his 6-track EP released on November 13, 2020 has a fine combination of Reggae, Dancehall and Afrobeats. With over 60,000 and still counting, he has shot 5 videos from the catalogue. Kamelyeon got signed to an Accra-based record label, 16th August 85 Villa in 2020. The “Rainbow” EP was released under the label with Elorm Beenie as the frontline man pushing the works and running his PR for the project.

Multiple award-winning singer, Wendy Addo famed as Wendy Shay has stated that “Black Should Love Black”. 

In a very insightful conversation with blogger Kobby Kyei, the “UberDriver” said whiles we push the “Black Lives Matter” agenda, we have to push “The Black Should Love Black” agenda too because she has been through a lot of racism in Germany.
