The 34-year-old moves to the Joy Brands (Myjoyonline, Joy FM, Joy Business, JoyNews, Joy Prime and Hitz FM) of the Multimedia Group Limited, after leaving his role at Citi FM/Citi TV, where he worked as Head of Sports at the time of his departure.

In an article to announce his new post, Fentuo stated: “This is an exciting new opportunity for me. Some of my mentors in the industry, like Karl Tufuoh, Michael Oti Adjei and Ernest Koranteng, have all passed through Joy; I’m thrilled by the prospect of taking the same stage as they did and showing what I’ve got,”

Fentuo started his career in sports broadcasting as an intern at radio stations across Kumasi, while a student at the University of Ghana, Legon.

Upon graduation, he rose to become Sports Editor at one of those stations, Ultimate FM, before moving to Accra to join Citi in 2017.

In the ensuing five years – and especially after his June 2020 appointment to the helm of the Citi Sports crew – Fentuo helped create one of the strongest sports news brands in Ghana.

, We need Asamoah Gyan at Blackstars’ camp – Sonnie Badu states, Frederick Nuetei

Gospel artist Sonnie Badu has said that it will be necessary for former Black Stars captain Asamoah to be in the camp with the team.

According to the gospel musician, he is of the opinion that the presence of Asamoah will be needed in the camp of the national team because Asamoah Gyan is still a national asset hence we should value and cherish him as such.

Sonnie Badu disclosed that he is close to the national football team of Nigeria and has been seeing some of the legends like Kanu and JJ OKOCHA there with the other team. He questioned why some Ghanaian football legends like Abedi Pele, John Painstil, and others are never at the camp of the team.

He wrote on his Instagram…

“Perhaps my opinion might cause a lot of problems. Nonetheless, someone must address it and so I will… WHAT IS ASAMOAH GYAN @asamoah_gyan3 doing leading “Jama” with spectators – when he is Ghana’s record holder of goals. And even beats some of the top player like Henry on world cup goals .. Is he not allowed in the camp? Can he not be there to help the younger generations? I am quite close to some of the @ng_supereagles players … When they are in the camp – you will see legends like: Kanu and JJ OKOCHA there with them. Why is Abedi Pele never around? Why is Yeboah never around? What about John Mensah and John Painstil? Is the reason political? Well, any institution that plays politics can never progress…

All these young players in there use to play GYAN on FIFA … Get Djan to help shape them.. I apologize in advance if anyone is offended… #Blackstars is all we have and take pride in as a nation ..’
