Faking Relevence, It’s Effects on Opportunities and Industry Growth – Phushket

Published

on

They make it look like it’s still so relevant and career demanding to ensure your works enjoy air play on Traditional Radio. They make it like Your Video isn’t a chart topper when it’s not shown on their Traditional TV’s, when they themselves know there has been an update.

Once your works can trend digitally and on Social media, my guy sleep because you have a hit already. Come and tell this generation, Songs and Videos Trending on youtube, Spotify, Itunes, Audiomack, Boomplay, Facebook, Twitters, IG, Snap, whatapp etc aren’t hit songs, because a particular Traditional radio or TV doesn’t have it on the charts or Playlist. If it’s Trending there, then that is what the street is jamming to.

To be a Good DJ these days, you must make your playlists from current trends. Again we are in an Online and Social media Industry, what shows as Trending is what should be used as Trendy content, our charts should reflect this more, after all, we are all Juggling content from Social media, so let the trends also reflect in the chats.

Traditional Radio and TV must ensure they have a strong Online Setup so their works can be Streamed since demand is mostly mobile, hence must be easy to access on Smart Phones.

Primary demand and supply is online not Traditional TV and Radio anymore. Faking Relevance to sit on Social media or Online Dominance is an act that cripples industry growth and limits money making Opportunities.
