Television presenter Deloris Frimpong Manso popularly known as Delay has returned to radio full-time with her position on Wontumi Radio’s drivetime show.

After weeks of persuasion, Delay has finally bowed down to the pressure from Chairman Wontumi as she’s accepted to work as a presenter on his radio station.

Weeks back, Delay shared a photo of herself behind the console at Wontumi Radio but quickly said she had no intentions to return back to radio permanently.

She wrote; It was great playing for WONTUMI FM last Friday. But it was just for fun. I do not have any intentions of going back on radio permanently. I’m currently busy building my own business. Thanks for all the kind messages!

It seems Delay had no choice but to accept the pressure from Chairman Wontumi who has been on the neck of the media personality until she gave in.

Delay took to her page to share a video of herself and Chairman Wontumi to announce her coming back to working as a radio presenter after 15 years of stepping down.

She wrote, “Chairman, I have accepted your offer. I’m joining your team today. I’m back on the radio from today. 3 pm to 6 pm on WONTUMI RADIO 95.9fm Accra.”

TV host and former beauty Queen, Emefa Akosua Adeti have left the Multimedia Group Limited to MX24.

Prior to her resignation, she was the female voice adding the feminine touch to Joy Prime’s “Prime Morning” as the co-host of the show which airs every weekday from 6am-9am.

“A real woman knows her worth” that’s the tagline for High Currency, a new local telenovela starring Nikki Samonas and coming to Akwaaba Magic on 20 July. The series, which will occupy the 8:30pm slot every Wednesday and Thursday thereafter, is about power, money, greed, crime and everything else in between and the ways in which they all intersect.

High Currency stars the acclaimed Nikoletta ‘Nikki’ Samonas as Naa Adei Hammond, an ambitious and hard-working woman who’s high-powered (and dangerous) job at an investment bank is her ticket to her dream life. But all of that is derailed when she falls in love will she choose affection over money and power?

High Currency will explore the relationships between money, power, sex, social media, and love in our contemporary world. Other cast members include Joshua Fordjour, Helen Lois, Brihanna Kinte, Kweku Elliott, Habiba Sinare and Angela Adubofuor.
