Dancer Adjetey Sowah Names Things He Regretted. Read More

In 1986 he won the the biggest dance competition of the 80’s. We are talking about the “Malibu” world dance championship and that should tell you how historic his win was in the 80’s.

Undoubtedly, he is still one of the famous Ghanaian dancers whose exploits can never go unmentioned. For those of you born in the 80’s, we are sure you will have a clue of who we are talking about. We are talking about the legend Adjetey Sowah. After many years of being away from the Showbiz scenes, we listened to him in an interview on HitzFM, and during his conversation with the host, he talked about how he regrets for not prioritizing his education and admitted to once upon a time being a womanizer. 

“When l started school, there was a cultural group in the school and l was part of it and became the leader. After that l went to Labone, and most of the clubs is around there and because am a dancer, most of the time l run away from the boarding house at night because of the dance. I’m always in the club . I skip school a lot and l regret because l didn’t take my education that serious. I started making more money from 1984 out of dance.

So l said come on, it’s all about money. In future is all about money so if am making the money now what is school”. However, he likes watching movies at his leisure time. For him smoking and drinking, he does not do them but he has a wife and six kids. Adjetey Sowah also shared his list of top musicians in the country. Highlife: Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba, Dasebre Dwamena and Paapa Yankson

Hiplife: Reggie Rockstone, Sarkodie and Medikal. Dancehall: Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy. With the female fraternity, he mentioned Eno Barony, Adina, Efya, Sista Afia

Former President John Mahama has received the vaccine for Covid-19. 

John Mahama was accompanied by his wife Lordina Mahama on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Police Hospital in Accra. After receiving the vaccine, Mr. Mahama allayed the fear of Ghanaians with an assurance that the vaccines are safe. 

He also noted that Ghanaians must therefore disregard all the rumors about the vaccine and get vaccinated. He tweeted below:

“At age 95, l was the biggest fan of Shatta Wale” – An old man says

An old man has disclosed that at age 95, he was the biggest fan of Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale. 

Speaking in an interview with blogger Zionfelix, the 95-year-old man said he went to GUBA awards celebration and he heard people speaking a lot about him. According to him, he was there with the late Former President Jerry John Rawlings, “they said he is the best in the whole of West Africa and Africa”, he said. 

He further added that when he came to Ghana, he wrote a special letter to him because as far as he is concern, at the age of 95 he was the number 1 fan of Shatta Wale on authority. Please watch the video below:
