Closure Of Night-Clubs Increasing Unemployment Rate, Government Turns Blind Eye - Ace Tantra Night-Club Manager

Management of Ace Tantra Night-Club, in Osu has warn that the latest lockdown restrictions which will see night clubs and other leisure venues close down could see another increment in unemployment.

Unless the government offer immediate and comprehensive financial support for night-clubs owners, especially the ones that are struggling to cope with the impose restrictions or allow these independent business or businesses return to operations. According to the manager of the night club who spoke to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, the hospitality and leisure venue is now sheltering hundred percent of the lockdown burden with no meaningful support to compensate.

They have been doing that for 7 months and still counting. Nana Kweku is the floor manager for the night club. “everything works with restrictions and people are ready to adhere. First of all when you enter the said venue, you have security’s lined up already, practice social distancing among people who are patronizing the place. We have a place we’re people will wash their hands as we all know.

Sanitizers are placed at vantage points, we will have an isolation center as well so that when someone’s body temperature goes beyond the normal body temperature, we will send the person to the isolation center though its not a confirmed case yet. We also want to be safe as well as our clients and guests. If we are given the mandate to re-operate, these measures will be betaken care of.”
