Because Of My Awards, Sarkodie Did Not Go To The VGMA - Dr Fordjour

A man who was giving out awards to Ghanaian celebrities and public figures while posing as an ambassador for the United Nations and Kofi Annan Foundation has been accused as an imposter. 

The alleged imposter who is identified as Dr. Kwame Fordjour has presented awards to a number of public figures including rapper, Sarkodie, Berla Mundi and others but in exclusive interview with Prince Tsegah on Adom Entertainment Hall, he had this to say: “when we talk about humanity awards, this is the first time it has been organized in Ghana” he told the host. You would remember that, the awards were presented on August 28, 2020 at Alisa Hotels.

Prince Tsegah then asked him that, who helped him to collate the name for the awards. Dr. Fordjour then responded that, the worked with a team, “Is not everyone we awarded”. “When we talk about credibility, someone can come out of his room and give you an award and it’s credible”. This is because after the awards, people went to investigate and they realized that, the alleged awards scheme is not credible.

Dr Fordjour also stated that, he wrote to Sarkodie way back in January about the awards before he confirmed in August to attend the awards event. “Sarkodie is not just a person and l don’t understand why we play with everything like that”. “The awards scheme is credible and l will not go to Alisa Hotel and pay big money and be joking or playing”. Dr. Fordjour also confirmed that, Sarkodie’s award was specially made from abroad. 

He also confirmed that some of the awardees management have been chatting with him on whatsapp. “Because of my show, Sarkodie did not go to the VGMA”, this is because he wanted to listen to the inspirational stories of Kofi Annan. “I saw him discussing issues with Dr S.K Boafo about issues which are important.

Prince then asked him that, he has seen that he has a musical background. Dr Fordjour said “it was through music that Kofi Annan got to know me”. Please listen to him in the video below. Thank you.

Ghanaian musician, Eddie Khae has reacted to Kuami Eugene’s laments on social media. 

In a recent video sighted by fredericknuetei.com, Kuami Eugene was heard lamenting about how his fellow musicians refuse to use their social media platforms to support each other’s projects. Some few hours later, his fellow colleague Eddie Khea has replied him in a new video.

According to him, what Kuami Eugene is saying is true but does he do it? He admitted that, its really nice when your fellow artiste will do a song and you will post it but songs that Kuami Eugene is on it, he does not post them. He further added that, he should not preach something he does not practice. “For that, you are being a hypocrite”.

In a live Facebook video streaming yesterday, he lamented about how his fellow musicians refuse to use their social media platforms to support each other’s projects. Kuami Eugene, who appeared on Sarkodie’s “Black Love” album but refused to share the project on his social media pages, is now furious about the same attitude he demonstrated.
