The NBA legend enjoyed a glittering 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers during his prime.

According to TMZ report, Bryant was travelling in his private helicopter when it crashed in Calabasas on Sunday morning.

The chopper is said to have been on fire after going down, as emergency services battled in vain to save those on board.

Transport Fares To Be Reduced By 10% - GPRTU Makes A U-Turn

Ghana Private Road Transport Union(GPRTU) have agreed to a 10% reduction in transport fares beginning Saturday, August 1, 2020. This follows up after we earlier reported a statement from the PRO of the union indicating their reluctance.

The National Chairman of the GPRTU, Mr Kwame Kuma disclosed that after several meetings by the leadership of various transport unions, they have agreed that the call by the public is genuine hence the need for a reduction in fares.

The Chairman emphasized that though the restrictions have been eased to allow full capacity operations, they will continue to ensure and maintain effective hygienic protocols. He also appealed to all drivers to accept and comply with the adjustment.

The public has since welcomed the news with much joy as they believe their calls have been heard. Social media has been buzzing with this topic throughout the day since the majority of Ghanaians patronize commercial transports throughout their daily activities. This 10% reduction I believe will at least serve as a relief to many.
