Barima Sidney Dragged To Court Over ‘Papa No’ Song?

Born Sidney Kofi Ofori, is a Ghanaian hip-life recording artist popularly known as Sidney, and he is currently in hot waters for recording the “Papa No” song.

Following reports of comments made by Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, in parliament some few days ago that the “Papa No”. However, people and some social media users have also attributed it to former President John Mahama that he is the one majority of people are referring to.

Due to the trending “Papa No”, Sidney also decided to record a song to trend with it but some YouTube channel’s have done their own video to the song and attached former President John Mahama, Tracey Boakye and Mzbel to it whiles the song is not connecting that. In an interview on Okay FM, the singer stated that he has been slapped with a lawsuit for the videos circulating on social media platforms.

“I saw one of the video and l was even frightened” he told the host, Halifax. He also stated that, all the videos in relation to the song he released, he does not have any hand in it. The host then asked him that, its just some few months to election and he has released this song “Papa No” so who is the “Papa No”. He responded that, no one knows this “Papa No” and we are still looking for him.

My collaboration with Beyoncé hasn’t been appreciated enough – Shatta Wale

Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale was a guest on TV3’s evening program dubbed, “Showbiz 360” hosted by Giovanni Caleb. 

The show which is dedicated to happenings around the entertainment industry saw Shatta Wale make some shocking revelation about his collaboration with Beyoncé. According to him, he has done a song with Beyoncé but the whole of Ghana is not pushing that agenda and its a problem. 

Shatta Wale believes it happened by the grace of God but Ghanaians have not appreciated him enough but he still feel there is more work for him to do. “We haven’t celebrated the glory enough”, he added.

“I agreed to take the vaccine publicly, to encourage and assure all Ghanaians that the vaccines are safe” – John Mahama

Former President John Mahama has received the vaccine for Covid-19. 

John Mahama was accompanied by his wife Lordina Mahama on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Police Hospital in Accra. After receiving the vaccine, Mr. Mahama allayed the fear of Ghanaians with an assurance that the vaccines are safe. 

He also noted that Ghanaians must therefore disregard all the rumors about the vaccine and get vaccinated. He tweeted below:
