Residents of Awoshie have demonstrated over faulty traffic lights for over two years and counting.

The angry residents took to the streets this morning to register their displeasure to the government and the authorities involved. The demonstration took place at Awoshie-Mangoase where out of ten traffic lights, only two are working and this is quite disturbing as pedestrians get hit by motorists sometimes.

The residents have complained several times but it seems the government and the authorities have given deaf ears to them. What even angered these residents is the fact that, a resident was knocked down by a vehicle yesterday in the evening and died on the spot and that gingered the residents to take action.

According to the news reporter, every week someone get’s hit by a vehicle. The residents blocked the road with objects and it took the help of the police to intervene but the residents still did not understand so the military had to come in to maintain peace and other. As you know about the military, you have to obey before you complain, one of the resident was hit by a military officer in the face and started bleeding. It took them about 2 to 3 hours to calm the people down.

Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, has been elected as the 46th President of the United States Of America.

To make him the President, he won the State of Pennsylvania to give him 20 more electoral votes to hit 270 electoral votes within hitherto 253. Taking to his twitter page, Joe Biden thanked Americans for the victory and assuring them to be President for all. 

America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country.

President Muhammadu Buhari Finally Address His Citizens Over The #EndSARS Protest

Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari has finally addressed his citizens over the #EndSARS protests.

In his strongly-worded address, Buhari has thrown shades at President Nana Akufo-Addo, Hilary Clinton, and other world leaders who dared to talk about the impasse. Well, it looks like Buhari did not need our input on the matter and the pressure for Akufo-Addo to speak was unnecessary.

SARS had reportedly been terrorising the ordinary citizens, especially the youth, and even killing some. Former United States President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Clinton, former Liberia President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, among others also criticised the Nigerian government over the reported deaths of protesters.
