AfroNation Postponed To 2021

Last year after a very successful Year of Return campaign by government, AfoNation held a festival in Accra and it was a major event that crowned the year of Ghanaians welcoming black people from all over the world.

After the festival, the government signed a five year deal with AfroNation to hold annual festival streaming December. Now with just weeks to December, many were wondering whether this year’s AfroNation festival will be held. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organizers of AfroNation festival have decided to cancel this year’s festival. 

In a statement they said “First of, we are sorry it’s taken this long to announce plans for AfroNation Ghana this year. We have been in deep talks with the authorities and our partners in Ghana. As you can imagine, due to the effect to Covid-19 around the globe, we unfortunately can’t go ahead with our AfroNation Ghana festival in 2020.

We will be back with more information about our return to Africa 2021. One that is going to be a celebration like no other. We already have some unique and exciting plans put in place to return to the motherland next year. We can’t wait to see you all there, is going to be special. Fiifi Pratt to hold ‘Polo Party’ on December 5

For some few past years, Fiifi Pratt has been organising a Polo party that brings all the stars and fans to one venue to jam to good music.

The event slated for Saturday, December 5, 2020, will take place at the Swiss Spirit Alisa Hotel inside North Ridge – Accra and celebrity appearances will take over the venue for a memorable “Polo Party Experience”.

Last year’s edition was epic but this year will be more fun. Standard ticket is Gh100 and VIP is Gh2,500. The event will start from 8pm to 3am, Nana Agradaa and Nana Ama MacBrown will be repping live. Please watch the video below;
