Adonko Bitters unveils Brand Ambassadors; names Jim Iyke, Ini Edo, Uti Nwachukwu, and Charles Okocha, Melvin Oduah, Victor AD, and Teddy A

Leading alcoholic herbal drink brand, Adonko Bitters has unveiled top celebrities and influencers as brand ambassadors. The official signing which took place at The Oriental Hotel, in Lekki on Thursday 13th February 2020, is an efficient move to maintain the link with key target audience and as leader in the herbal  beverages industry, it creates a flawless visibility across board. The brand ambassadors unveiling was hosted by  Ghanaian  – Actress, Tv and Radio Host Selly Gelly.  Representing Adonko Bitters Limited were, Head of International  Marketing Adonko Bitters – Vincent Opare,  Mr Enest Gyamfi -Head of Sales, as well as  Ernest Brobbey Country Manager Nigeria Adonko Bitters. 

The choice of these ambassadors is a bid to create a consistent connection between the customer and the brand. They have proven over the years to have a distinct relationship with different categories of the target audience. To this end, they will individually represent the brand at different levels and maintain excellent relationships with key audiences. Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has warned people not to tag her as a ‘So-Called Celebrity’.

The outspoken actress instructed them to address her with her name instead of the ‘So-Called Celebrity’ tag. She posted on her Facebook page: “Please don’t call me “so-called” whenever you’re referring to me as a celebrity. You can take the world, wrap it in pepper, and shove it up to your burro.

That’s why I don’t lay with so many of you and never will; because when you need a favor, donations, etc we’re worthy of the title, but when it doesn’t favor you, you try to discredit us by any means necessary.“I’m Lydia Forson, before anything else, address me as such so you don’t constantly feel like you’re doing me favors by addressing me as a celebrity. The Covid-19 has affected practically everyone and musicians have been sharing their stories on how it affected them. 

Gospel artiste of the year Diana Hamilton, also shared her experience. She was on the Daybreak Hitz show this morning with Andy Dosty and she explained how the Covid-19 affected her and her career. She said it worked for her, “as a child of God, l know nothing comes by chance. I think prior to Covid or 3-4 years ago, it was in the news, we can’t get to know you, you are not accessible, you don’t leave here.

Then l started building social media and started getting close to people. Then Covid came and we had the chance to do this facebook live and l had the chance to talk to people, and people to call in to speak to me. That helped me and one of the biggest things was the fact that, l was able to over come the fear of l have to be in the studio with the producer”.

She also stated that, it build her confidence level to work with people when they are not there, and also helped her husband figure his way out in doing vocals.
